With our daughter and her family off on their sailboat for the next four years, Lew and I decided it was time for us to fulfill one of our long time dreams - living full time in our RV. The plan has taken shape, the RV is 90% packed, and we are anxious to get going. On September 1st we will leave Anacortes, WA, for approximately 18 months, traveling around much of the United States and part of Canada, visiting family and friends, national parks and monuments, presidential libraries, museums, and other wonders and oddities along the way.
We will keep you posted as we go, sharing the ups and downs of nomadic living and our trials and tribulations as we prepare for the journey. There is no doubt that something will go wrong along the way, plans will change, things will break, and we'll have more than a few funny and/or tear-jerking stories to tell. But all we can think about now is the adventure that awaits us.
